Treatments and Therapies
Ontario Pain Clinics works with family physicians to provide comprehensive pain management. When appropriate and coordinated with the family physician, we provide medication prescriptions at our clinic including narcotics prescriptions.
We also provide nerve blocks, trigger point injections, joint injections, Botox injections, Epidural, and Facet Joint Injections for our patients.
Our clinics have a working relationship with physiotherapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and nutritionists. We work with these professionals as we believe in the whole-body approach to pain management.
At Ontario Pain Clinics, we understand how pain can impede you from enjoying life and living it to the fullest. TRY our innovative multimodal pain program and GET BACK on your feet!
Medications
A range of services to help patients manage their chronic pain. We work closely with family physicians to ensure that each patient’s care is coordinated and comprehensive.
Joint Injections
These injections can be used to reduce inflammation and pain, or to deliver drugs that can help with pain management.
Headaches & Migraines
Research shows evidence that Botox is effective at treating migraines and headaches. We are proud to provide this therapy to our patients
Trigger Point Injections
By injecting the anaesthetic into the trigger point, the muscle can be “frozen” and the pain can be relieved. This can be an effective way to manage myofascial pain, which is pain that affects the muscles and connective tissue.
Work and Auto Injuries
We work closely with organizations like the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and car insurers to ensure that our patients can access the benefits they need to cover the cost of their care.
Nerve Blocks
They are often injections of medicines that block pain from specific nerves.
They can be used for pain relief as well as total loss of feeling if needed for surgery.
